My name is Brian Ross and I am with a convention called ShowCon. We are a group of individuals who thrive on the geek and nerdy culture. We are having the event in Murfreesboro, TN at the Mid-TN Expo Center. We have outgrown our original venue of 14,000 square feet and are now in a much BIGGER venue of 40,000 square feet. We are expecting a crowd of at least 1000 to be attending this convention. We are expecting more in attendance. A LOT MORE.

hi, i love your wigs and i was wondering if you guys were going to be coming out with a roxy lalonde wig from homestuck? because im planning on cosplaying her and id really like to get my wig from you guys
I’d recommend this wig, though you’d have to style her little curl in yourself.
We’ll also add her to our upcoming poll for new wigs and see if we can’t get in something a little more pre-styled.
It was FANTASTIC meeting you guys and I hope to see you all again soon! I have some great plans for my next convention (whether it’s MTAC or Anime Boston has yet to be decided). I want to cosplay Chi and my friend will cosplay Freya from CLAMP’s Chobits. I will more than likely purchase a ball jointed doll and I wanted to get a pink/fuschia wig for the tiny persacom Sumomo. Will you possibly be getting in an appropriate wig? I can post reference pictures if needed.

How long does shipping take to Florida? I heard the shipping took weeks.
We are located in Shawnee, Oklahoma and ship via the US Postal Service. Standard ground shipping usually takes a week or less to locations in the US. Priority shipping will take 2-3 days. Express shipping is overnight to most US locations. The costs for the different shipping options are listed on our FAQ.

I have a pink wig that i bought that is up in 2 buns… like braided buns… but i dont want to mess the wig up so i wanted to ask first… are the braided buns attatched to the wig or are they a seperate entity??
If it is this wig http://thefivewits.net/2011/04/desu-bloodbath-peacemaker-princess/ then the buns are separate. They are held onto the rest of the wig by little threads. You can cut the threads and take the buns off and the wig will be okay.
I’m actually extremely disapointed.
I ordered my Hiei wig from you guys thinking it would be perfect.
It came prestyled… flipped inside out and in an envelope which, not only ruins sprayed designs, it flattens spikes.
It looks aweful and is almost impossible to fix.
I thought it would be better quality.
Hi Christina! The Hiei wig is troublesome, yes. I’m re-writing the page to reflect that it comes with some wonky styling that needs to be washed out. The whole last batch came that way, so I downgraded the price. The page was supposed to explain that, but it looks like I missed it. You can send the wig back to us for a full refund, or if you want to rehabilitate the wig, it looks great once the styling glue is washed out with hot soapy water. Let us know what you’d like to do, and we’ll make it happen.
Also I’ve lowered the wig to the price it should be given the work needed to fix it, but I can’t find the email you ordered it in. Would you email us at thefivewits@thefivewits.net with your PayPal associated email address so we can send you the $10? If you’d rather mail it back for a full refund that’s okay too.
I’ve already taken a knife to it and some styling glue of my own, so refunding completely isn’t going to happen. It’s alright.

Do not attempt to spike it straight up. It looks horrid, spike it more like a back flow and it looks beautiful.
Hey, I was wondering, how do I send in a request for a wig?
Email us reference photos of the character you want to request a wig of. As it says on our FAQ, we log each request as it comes in, and if it seems like something we could do, we add it to our list of potential new wig styles. Approximately every two months we put up a poll on our Facebook site, asking our customers which new styles we should begin to stock. After the poll closes, we’ll get started on the winning styles, and they will be available to order about 6-8 weeks from then. The styles that don’t win won’t be added at that time.

Anyways, I was just going to ask that, as the wig is winning by a milestone in your poll, when do you think Princress Cadence will be in stock? I plan on cosplaying her for Metrocon this year, and while I have my alternative method to do it (dying/wig+ponytail combos), I’d really love to have a version of yours as they always come out so well. Unfortunately, the wig will probably be in about late June/early July- not in time for Metrocon. It’ll probably be in by Anime Festival Orlando, though!

hello, a quick question…. my sis and I bought alot of wigs from you last year at ax…… so we are gonna stop by and get some more this year… my question is do you bring all the wigs you sell online to the conventions…… ? there are a few we are looking at getting depending on what costumes we do this year…… so we were just curiuos thanks.
We try to bring as many as we can to each con. Show that we fly to have less (200+ wig styles are too heavy to carry in suitcases D:) but we’re going to be driving to Anime Expo so we’ll have nearly our full inventory.
But to make sure, which wigs were you looking to buy? We can make sure we bring them that way, or even set wigs aside for you to pick up at the con.

Sadly we can’t guarantee a delivery date that soon. We can ship right away, but generally things take 2 weeks to get reliably to Canada, and one recent order seems to be taking even longer. It might come in time, but there’s at least a 50% chance it won’t.
