Oh my gosh. I love you guys. I just wish I would’ve had time to get this to me for the party I went to a couple days ago, but I didn’t think of it in time.

Good LORD, I have the most raging cosplay boner I think I’ve ever had in my life! This wig is BEAUTIFUL! So, what’s your secret? Black magic? Sell your soul? Because REALLY! Wigs just don’t DO that! I can hardly get mine to do a NORMAL braid without them getting all temperamental and threatening to show some major weftage. HOWWWWWW did you do a freakin’ FRENCH BRAID on a WIG?!?!?! You guys are crazy good. If I had room in my schedule to bring back my Katniss Everdeen and revamp her, I would buy this in a heartbeat. Actually, the more I look at this, the more I think, “Katniss is fun. I like Katniss. BUY THE WIG! BUY IT NOWWWWWWWWW!”

      we’re wizards, harry*

There’s always the second hunger games movie for cosplaying~

      * disclaimer: the wig comes braided right out of the bag, and the five wits are not in fact wizards**
      ** because we’re sorceresses

I am looking at getting this wig, primarily for work (I lost all my hair in an accident. Long story short, I’ve taken to collecting wigs and tiechels/head scarves.) and I want to know how well the hair stays in the braid, say if I were to wear it once or more times a week or so, or even more than that. I know about proper wig care, but I doubt I could recreate the braid on this anywhere near as neatly, so I know I’ll eventually need someone to do that, but… How well do the wig fibers stay in the braid?

    • BirdyNo Gravatar says:

The wig we’ve used heavily for display at conventions seems to be keeping its braid just fine, since unlike with regular hair all the fibers are quite long. Barring accidents like velcro, cats, and zipper snags, it should stay very well in place. A light hit of hairspray should also help keep things where they should be too.

I would like to use this wig for a Belle costume. But if I were to unbraid it, would it be too thin?

  15. MerlinNo Gravatar says:

I just received this wig from you guys today and it’s FANTASTIC! I cannot get over how great it is! <3
The nice thing also, is that I can wear it out in public and not be stared at awkwardly because it just looks so natural.
If there was ever such a thing as 'too perfect' this would be it
