     I think Machiavellian is better for the color (Idealist is more red-brown), though you may have to trim it a bit in front.

       I noticed that with the idealist..it also seems a bit too short for Alan’s hair.

   It would also work for Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh. It’s probably the only wig I’ve seen that’s even REMOTELY close to his hairstyle and color.

     It would, if you want a medium/dark brown. If you want something more red brown, people have also bought this one http://thefivewits.net/2010/06/giant-prop-sand-slam/ for Romano. We actually have a few Giant Prop Sand Slam with a spoink pre-attached, all ready to go for Romano. If you want one of those, just leave a note in the “instructions to merchant” space saying you’d like one with a spoink.

     We just kind of fluffed the bangs around with our hands. No special styling tricks needed.
